10 Days Renjo La pass Trek is a breathtaking and scenic route in the Everest Region. It offers you the panoramic view of mount Everest with other HImalayas. It takes trekkers through less crowded routes. It diverts the route from the main stream of the EBC route and takes you to explore through remote valleys and experience the peaceful route.
Seasonal Information:
The best season for this trek is Spring(March-May). In this season, the weather is stable with clear skies and Rhododendron blooms. It is the best for photography and a comfortable trekking experience. You get to see the view of Mount Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse and Makalu. Likewise, the Autumn(September-November) season is also a recommended season. In this season, the weather is stable with pristine mountain vistas. It is a peak trekking season as well as the festive season of Sherpas. The temperature is moderate at day and chill at night. In winter(December-February), the temperature is cold. There are high chances of snowfall and the route is also difficult for trekking. Therefore, it is only recommended for highly experienced trekkers. In Monsoon(June-August), frequent rainfall occurs. The trail is slippery and there is a high risk of landslides. The visibility of view is less due to fog and cloud cover. It is the least recommended season.

For Cultural aspect, You can explore Namche Bazaar. It is the vibrant town of sherpas known for its monasteries, bakeries and trading market. You can visit Thame Monastery which is a century old Buddhist Monastery that provides spiritual insights. You can experience Tibetan-influenced culture, the Mani Rimdu festival and hospitality of locals. Similarly for Natural insights, You can witness the panoramic view of Mount Everest along with other Himalayan peaks. You can see crystal clear glacial lakes that offer spectacular reflection of mountains. The route follows lush rhododendron forest, high altitude valleys, and rugged terrains.You can encounter snow leopard, Himalayan Tahrs, Yaks and Danphe.

Preparation is very crucial for trekking, so here are some guide for you:

Physical Fitness: You have to be physically fit to be able to walk long hours. You need to do cardio exercise. You should Strengthen your legs with training.You should practice long walks carrying a backpack.

Short Itinerary ( 10 days )
Arrival in Kathmandu. The trek begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. After that a short trek to Phakding. This trail takes you through lush forest, crossing suspension bridges and passing by sherpa villages. Stay overnight at a tea house. Distance : 7km, walking hours : 3-4 hrs
Now trek to Namche Bazaar. This route takes you through the Hillary suspension bridge. The entry gate of Sagarmatha National Park. Reaching Namche Bazaar. Stay overnight at a tea house. Distance: 10km, walking hours: 6-7 hrs, altitude gain: 830m
Day 3 is all about resting and exploring Namche Bazaar. A short trek to Syangboche or you can visit the sherpa museum. You can explore the culture of the sherpa community. Thi is also an opportunity to witness a panoramic view of Mount Everest.
The trek takes you to Tengboche. It offers the view of Mount Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam. You can visit Tengboche Monastery for an authentic experience. Distance: 10km, walking hours: 5-6 hrs, altitude gain: 420m
Moving forward to Dingboche. The trail passes through alpine meadows and forest. You can see Mount Ama Dablam with other mountains. Stay overnight at a tea house in Dingboche. Distance:12 km, walking hours: 5-6 hrs, altitude gain: 500m
Acclimatization day continues at Dingboche. You can hike to Nangkartshang peak for a panoramic view of mountains.
Trek progresses to Gokyo. The trek passes through Dhugla Pass which is dedicated in memorial to fallen climbers. You can see the view of Cho Oyu and other peaks. We’ll Stay by the beautiful Gokyo Lakes. Distance: 9km , walking hours:5-6 hrs, altitude gain: 430 m.
Continuing our trek to Renjo La Pass. We’ll come across Renjo La pass (5360 m) that offers a panoramic view of Mount Everest along with other mountain vistas. Then descend to Lungden for an overnight. Distance: 13km, walking hours: 7-8 hrs, altitude gain: 570m(renjo la pass) and altitude loss(to lungden).
trek back to Namche Bazaar passing through hillary suspension bridge, descend through sherpa village, rhododendron forest. After reaching Namche Bazaar, rest for the day and enjoy the last view of the Himalayas. Distance: 13km, walking hours: 6-7 hrs, altitude loss: 940 m.
Descend from Namche Bazaar to Lukla where the trek is completed. Passing through suspension bridges, sherpa villages. After reaching Lukla, you’ll take a flight back to Kathmandu. Transfer to the International Airport for your departure.Distance: 10km, walking hours: 5-6 hrs, altitude loss: 580m.
