Our Story: From a Desk to the Himalayas
Our founder, Aakash Shrestha, once lived the relentless life of a corporate employee. Long hours and constant deadlines left him exhausted and searching for relief.
In 2018, he set out for what he thought would be just a short break, a trek to Annapurna Base Camp. What he found was far more than just mountain air. For the first time in years, he could breathe deeply, think clearly, and feel truly present. The trail, the quiet, and the simple conversations with fellow trekkers awakened something he had been missing.
On that journey, a question took shape:
"What if people caught up in work and city life could step into these mountains and experience the same clarity and connection?"
And thus, Nepal Outdoor Expeditions Pvt. Ltd. came to life, founded with the belief that travel in the Himalayas should be a journey of transformation as well as adventure.
