There is a reliable ATM in Namche Bazaar (EBC route) and Pokhara/Jomsom (Annapurna routes). Beyond these points, carry sufficient cash in Nepali Rupees (NPR). We recommend withdrawing cash in Kathmandu before departure. Most teahouses and lodges do not accept cards.

Teahouse menus offer a wide variety: dal bhat (the traditional Nepali staple, nutritious and filling), noodles, fried rice, pasta, eggs, soups, pancakes, and more. Vegetarian options are always available. The menus become simpler at higher elevations. Special dietary requirements (vegan, gluten-free) can usually be accommodated with advance notice.

<p>To confirm your booking, a 20% deposit is required. We accept international bank transfers, Wise, and credit/debit cards via a secure link. The best times are Spring (March-May) and Autumn (September-November) when weather conditions are most favorable.

A moderate level of fitness is recommended. We suggest regular cardio exercise and hiking practice 2-3 months before your trek.
